Transferring 125 citizens to receive free treatment in Ain Shams University hospitals.

Performing 47 surgeries at Qena General Hospital.

40 written and 80 instant tests in the field of literacy.

Distribution of 300 blankets.

The comprehensive development convoy of Ain Shams University for Qena Governorate succeeded over the course of 4 days in serving the citizens of the village of Al-Qalamina, the endowment center in Qena Governorate, within the framework of the presidential initiative, a decent life, and under the auspices of Major General Pilot Staff officer Ashraf Al-Dawdy, Governor of Qena, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The number of beneficiaries of the free medical service reached 1,894 citizens. Medical examinations were signed for them in orthopedic, heart, thoracic, internal, pediatric, general surgery, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, ear, nose and throat clinics, mental and neurological diseases, gynecology and dermatology clinics at the unit’s headquarters. Health in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine headed by Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as providing nursing services to 732 citizens by measuring blood pressure and sugar in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing, in addition to performing 47 surgical operations at Qena General Hospital in cooperation with Ain Shams University Hospitals headed by Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals and general supervision of Prof. Hala Sweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, in addition to referring 125 cases to receive free treatment at Ain Shams University Hospitals in Cairo Governorate.

         
   
         

Medicines were dispensed free of charge from the caravan pharmacy, in cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy, to 1,500 beneficiaries, in addition to providing medical and rehabilitation services for people with special needs, and organizing awareness seminars for their families, in cooperation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood.

The convoy also provided illiteracy eradication services and holding writing papers for those wishing to obtain a certificate of liberation from illiteracy in cooperation with the General Authority for the Eradication of Literacy, where 80 immediate tests and 40 writing papers were held.

In addition to the focus of awareness campaigns presented by international trainer Tarek Abdel Fattah in the areas of women's and children's health, school bullying, its causes, methods of treatment, proper nutrition and its impact on health.

         
   
         

The convoy concluded its work by distributing 300 blankets to the people, in coordination with the Social Affairs Authority in Qena Governorate.

The Major General Ashraf El-Dawdy, Governor of Qena, visited the headquarters of the activities of the comprehensive development convoy of Ain Shams University on its first day accompanying Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University, Community Service and Environmental Development.

Ain Shams University continues its participation in the presidential initiative, a decent life, based on its societal role by launching comprehensive development convoys in various parts of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in implementation of Egypt's Vision 2030.
