Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, received Dr. Ahmed Hussein Al-Fitouri, the cultural attaché of the State of Libya in Cairo, at the Zaafaran Palace, to check on the conditions of the Libyan students studying at Ain Shams University, in addition to discussing ways of joint cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Professor Sherwit Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Department of Expatriates and Visiting Professors from Ain Shams University, and from the Libyan side, Dr. Ahmed Salem Akram, Assistant Libyan Cultural Attaché, Dr. Ismail Al-Hadi Obaid, Assistant Libyan Cultural Attaché, and Professor Ramzi Khalifa Askar.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, welcomed the Libyan Cultural Attaché and the accompanying delegation, stressing the deep ties and close relations between Egypt and the sister country of Libya.
His Excellency stressed the keenness of Ain Shams University to take care of its students from all nationalities studying at the university, and to overcome the obstacles that may face, in addition to providing all aspects of care and various services for them during their study period in the various faculties of the university, whether at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
For his part, the Libyan cultural attaché expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the administration of Ain Shams Higher University and the administration of expatriates at the university with the foreign students, praising the academic level and the prestigious international reputation of Ain Shams University, which is reflected in the level of students and the various experiences and skills that qualify them for the local, international and regional labor market.
