The Faculty of Education visits the book fair in its 54th session under the slogan “On the Name of Egypt” to consolidate the connection between culture, society, and the environment

Within the framework of interest of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, to play the main role represented in serving the community and increasing cultural and intellectual awareness, and in implementation of the directives of Prof. Safaa Shehata, Acting Dean of the Faculty, and keen on active participation in this field, the visit of a team of faculty staff and students of the Faculty to the Cairo International Book Fair in its 54th session comes in appreciation of the effective role of the writers and culture in general in enriching awareness and building the human being, especially the exhibition of this year, includes many distinguished and pioneering books by a large number of thinkers and creators from all over the world.

It is worth noting that the exhibition is consistent and in harmony with Egypt's vision for 2030 in supporting creativity and consolidating identity. A team of faculty staff, teaching assistants, and some students from the faculty participated in the visit. The places of visit within the exhibition varied to include most of the bodies participating in the exhibition as well as various publishing houses and attending cultural seminars. Talks were exchanged with representatives of the various bodies and their most important societal, cultural, and knowledge roles were identified as aspects of cooperation in order to achieve the mission of the faculty and the university. All components of the exhibition have benefited. It was keen to cover most of its exhibits, cultural seminars, etc. All participants benefited from the visit and its cultural impact.

In conclusion, all participants were honored by the visit for their efforts in community service, environmental development, and continuous cooperation in enriching the main role of this sector within the faculty. A set of recommendations were made with the visiting team to repeat the visit to these important cultural places, and the importance of focusing on the role of writers in raising awareness and intellectual advancement. And the necessity for there to be effective contributions from everyone in this field in order to achieve the mission of the faculty and the university in consolidating identity, increasing intellectual awareness, and supporting sustainable development initiatives in its various fields.
