Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Mr. Mohamed El-Atreby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Misr, this morning, the new Banque Misr branch on the campus of the Faculty of Business.
Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini confirmed that the new branch represents an addition to the university's work system, as it contributes to facilitating the procedures for paying tuition fees for students, in addition to banking services for university employees.
Also, Mr. Mohammad El-Atrebi praised the new Banque Misr branch at the Faculty of Business, at Ain Shams University, and that it is a new addition to aspects of cooperation between the Faculty of Business and Banque Misr, indicating that the new branch provides banking services to more than 70,000 students from the faculty, as well as providing banking services to employees of the Faculty of Business and Ain Shams University and providing Training opportunities for students of the Faculty of Business during the summer period.
Prof. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business, explained that the opening of the new branch of Banque Misr is a strong addition and a distinguished development for the financial and banking services previously provided by Banque Misr in the Faculty of Business building, stressing the strong relationship between Ain Shams University, especially the Faculty of Business, and Banque Misr, especially in providing training opportunities for students on the model Banking simulation and providing various financial services to students, faculty staff, and faculty and university employees.
Engineer Nermin Barakat, General Manager of the Development Department of the Engineering Department of the bank, explained that the Banque Misr branch building at Ain Shams University represents a model to be followed in green buildings, where wall and ceiling insulation was used, LED technology was used in lighting, and a solar power plant was installed that reduces 30% of energy consumption of the building, and the use of light and water sensors to rationalize consumption, and most of the materials used in the finishes are free of volatile organic matter, which raises the quality of the internal environment of the building, and the building is managed sustainably.
Mr. Mohamed Salem, Director of Banque Misr Branch at the Faculty of Business, at Ain Shams University, stated that the aim of establishing the branch as a sustainable green branch is not only to preserve the environment and natural resources, but to spread the idea of green buildings and sustainable development among Ain Shams University students and all dealers with the branch, in line with the bank's strategy in Implementing Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development.
