Based on Ain Shams University's keenness to achieve excellence and competition, and as a continuation of Ain Shams University's leadership in the field of awards through its pioneering and distinguished scholars in various fields, and benefit from the practical experience of the recipients of prestigious awards, the University Awards Office, in cooperation with the electronic portal, continued its meetings, and held its twenty-ninth meeting In the presence of a group of faculty staff who have won prestigious local, regional and international awards, which was held at the Networking and Information Technology Center at the university on February 14, 2023.

Prof. Makarem Mohamed Ahmed Al-Ghamry, Professor of the Russian Language and former Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, at Ain Shams University, recipient of the Faisal International Award 1999 - Ain Shams Appreciation Award 2009 and many awards and honors.
Prof. Amal Abdel-Fattah Atwa Shams, Professor of Sociology and former Chairman of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology - Recipient of the King Abdulaziz Prize for Scientific Research in Childhood and Development Issues in the Arab World 2018.
Both of their Excellencies pointed to the importance of the awards that each of them received, which are among the prestigious awards, as Prof. Makarim Al-Ghamry referred to the global value of the Faisal Prize, which she received from the King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and that the number of winners to date includes 282 winners from 44 nationalities worldwide. And that it is an award that depends on creativity and scientific excellence in the field of the award and the theme specified for the year of the award.
Her Excellency called on faculty staff to apply for the award, especially those who are pioneers in their field of specialization from among the areas open to the award.
While Prof. Amal Shams referred to her obtaining the King Abdul Aziz Prize in Childhood and Development Issues in the Arab World and to the efforts she made in the research submitted to obtain the award in its first session, which was entitled Evaluating the role of the institutions of upbringing citizenship in the light of regional and international challenges, and its sovereignty demonstrated the importance The areas offered for the award for this year in its third session, motivating faculty staff from the university to apply for the award, and the need to compete in the topics presented for this year to contribute to the leadership of Ain Shams University, which contributes to these pioneering awards in supporting the university's position in the international classification.
