Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, met members of the delegation of the Organization for Safety and Health for French Hospitals (APHP), which is entrusted with monitoring all university hospitals in France, and who visits Ain Shams Specialized Hospital to discuss ways to develop the work in the hospital and to identify any areas in need of development.
The delegation was received by Prof. Tariq Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals at Ain Shams University, Prof. Walid Anwar, Director of Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, Prof. Hisham Anwar, deputy director of the hospital, Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Razzak, the hospital's medical director, Prof. Tamer Emara, Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty of Medicine, and a group of hospital doctors.
The delegation's visit lasts for three days (February 18, 19, 20), during which it will visit all departments and units in the hospital, to present reports on the modernization and development of the hospital's infrastructure at the administrative and service levels. The visit concludes with a meeting of the delegation members with university leaders to discuss aspects of development.
It is noteworthy that the (APHP) is an international arm that provides consulting services to hospitals.
