Signing a contract to establish one of the largest design houses for electronic and integrated products and robots between Ain Shams University and the Central Bank

Mr. Mohamed Elatriby, Chairman of Banque Misr, signed a protocol to establish one of the largest design houses for electronic and integrated products and robotics between Ain Shams University and the Central Bank. This was in the presence of Mr. Lubna Helal, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt and President of Al-Azhar University Vice President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

Dr. Maged Ghonima, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University, confirmed that this protocol was prepared for Ain Shams University, especially after several years of discussions and as a result of iHub's activity for seven years to support young people's ideas.

He added that this cooperation comes within the framework of bridging the gap between the university and the needs of the labor market. The contract includes the establishment of a design house for electronic and integrated products and robotics center of innovation and entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University to become one of the largest design houses in this specialization in Egypt. As part of the initiative of the Nile pioneers launched by the Central Bank of Egypt and supported by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and the University of the Nile.

Dr. Magod Ghonaima explained that the protocol includes the transfer of ideas for the initial youth and the crystallization of preliminary models of products needed by the labor market and then interferes with the work team center to convert these models to the end designs can be manufactured. He added that it has been communicating with the owners of companies and entrepreneurs to develop their products so that they can pass the standards so that they can Exported to new markets. Seven different projects have already been agreed with startups, medium and large companies.

This cooperation helps students of all different stages who have unique ideas, as well as young researchers and entrepreneurs to develop their products. We will also be able to benefit from the new research incentives law that will stimulate researchers to establish their companies.

The Design House at Ain Shams University is led by Khalid Al Bouchi and includes more than 20 specialists in the fields of electronics, programming and mechanical design who have long experience in designing and manufacturing various products in different fields such as agriculture, health, automotive, energy and robotics.

The design house will cooperate with its expertise in organizing meetings, events, competitions and workshops throughout the year to develop students, researchers and young graduates in the fields of electronics, programming and mechanical design to create a generation that has the skills and expertise required to support this promising field in the Egyptian industry.
