Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with academic coordination by Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, Director of the Center for Adult Education and Administrative Coordination, Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Muhammed Abu Al-Azm, Secretary of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Education and Student Affairs Sector, for the second day in a row, continued the activities of the literacy project by opening a number of new classes to eradicate illiteracy for 52 workers. Of them, 27 workers in the university city are male students, and 25 workers in the university city are female students. Today, 122 male and female students taught as follows: (35) female students at the Faculty of Girls, (33) students at the Faculty of Education, (3) students at the Faculty of Business, (19) students at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, (29) students in the Faculty of Specific Education (3) students in the Faculty of Arts, and 3 supervisors from the Adult Education Center supervised, and 5 supervisors from different faculties supervised from the faculties.
This comes within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to participate in presidential initiatives and based on Egypt's strategic vision for the year 2030 and in implementation of the initiative of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and under the slogan of a decent life without illiteracy and declaring Egypt free of illiteracy by 2030.
It is worth noting that literacy classes continue inside the halls of Ain Shams University during weekdays and public holidays.
