The second scientific conference for graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry

The Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, organized the second scientific conference for graduates for the year 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Karim El-Batouti, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

In his speech, Prof. Muhammad Diaa, Dean of the Faculty, welcomed the attendance of faculty members, guests of the Ministry of Health, and his children from the alumni, explaining that the forum is a good opportunity for continuous communication between the faculty and the graduates, and that those in charge of the college administration have made a lot of effort until there is full awareness by Graduates appreciate the importance of this scientific and knowledge forum to see all that is new in their field of specialization.

         
   
         

He also pointed out that masters and doctoral degrees are not the end, but that there is a need to be constantly acquainted with everything new in the field of dentistry, and that the forum is a good opportunity for that, and he recommended the graduates to take advantage of the forum as much as possible for the benefit of themselves and their society.

Prof. Karim Al-Batouti emphasized that conferences provide graduates with more information in their field of specialization, which helps them to better engage in the labor market.

His Excellency recommended the graduates to be keen to attend more workshops and conferences specialized in the field of dentistry, because this will make them more distinguished from their peers in other universities.

Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of the University's Alumni Association, welcomed the attendees, faculty members, and alumni. She also thanked and appreciated the Dean of the College and the Vice-Dean for Education and Student Affairs for the effort exerted until they succeeded in convincing their graduates of the importance of this forum and the need to be careful to attend every year to benefit from it. Everything new in the field of dentistry.

She also confirmed that the university administration and the university's alumni association are keen to support such conferences, to be the link between the university and its graduates, which makes the graduate of Ain Shams University more distinguished from his peers in other universities, due to the new information he acquires on an ongoing basis in his field of specialization.

         
   
         

She emphasized that the University's Alumni Association aims to support its graduates in a way that works to develop their professional skills and abilities, and also helps them provide suitable job opportunities in the field of their scientific specialization through coordination between the Association and the Employment Forum at the University.

She pointed out that the association is working on communication between previous generations and recent graduates for the benefit of graduates.

She also explained that the university offers free training courses to its children in order to develop their professional skills and abilities, in addition to that the university's alumni association supports graduates in many life services such as treatment, travel and other services.

         
   
         

Dr. Amira Al-Nagar, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit, welcomed the attendees and thanked the Dean and the Vice-Dean for their support for the conference. She thanked the Alumni Unit, which contributes to providing job opportunities for college graduates, and contributes to introducing conferences and workshops in the field of dentistry, organizing trips and many student activities.

At the end of the conference, Prof. Karim El-Batouti, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, honored Prof. Dr. Farid Al-Askari, Dr. Marwa Imam, Dr. Fatima Adel, Dr. Mona Galal, Dr. Amr El-Deeb, and Dr. Basma Gamal, in appreciation of the scientific and research information they provided to their children and fellow graduates, which would benefit them in their scientific and professional lives.
