The International publishing and its importance... A workshop at the Faculty of Dentistry

Yesterday, the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, organized a workshop entitled "The Importance of International Publication and the Multiple Methods That Facilitate the International Publication of Scientific Research", under the supervision of Prof. Muhammad Diaa Al-Din Zain Al-Abidin, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Karim Al-Batouti, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Maram Ebeid, Director of the Training and Development Unit at the Faculty.

The workshop included lectures delivered by Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, a lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry and director of the International Classification Department at Ain Shams University.

The workshop aims to help understand the nature of documented international research databases, methods of selecting international research, choosing appropriate journals to send research, as well as funding and research support opportunities available.

Prof. Muhammad Diaa, Dean of the Faculty, has explained his constant endeavor to support the system of scientific research and international publishing because the researcher presents in his papers the harvest of his idea and creativity and he always seeks to raise the rate of international publishing in the college to keep pace with science with continuity, as scientific publishing helps the professors to follow up on the most important topics and thus increase Researchers' cultural awareness of what ultimately serves scientific research.

         
   
         

Prof. Karim Al-Batouti, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, said that international publishing is the way to achieve the researchers’ reach, as it benefits the researcher and the institution that carries out the publishing process, often the university. the international scientific community.

         
   
         

As explained by Prof. Maram Ebeid, Director of the Training and Development Unit at the faculty, the aim of this workshop is to shed light on how to support scientific research and projects by funders, and that this would raise the level of the university scientifically and internationally.
