The Sixteenth monthly meeting of the Faculty of Archeology

On Monday, March 11, 2023, the Council of the Faculty of Archeology at Ain Shams University held its sixteenth monthly meeting in the Faculty Council Hall, headed by Prof. Hossam Tantawy, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of Prof. Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, and members of the Council from within.

Prof. Hossam Tantawi started the meeting by welcoming the members and wishing success to all, then he moved on to discussing the topics of the meeting. Including the education and student affairs sector, where it was briefed on what was done regarding the enrollment of new students for the academic year 2022-2023 and the conditions for their distribution to scientific programs, and the approval of the training plan and scientific visits to the college programs during the second semester, and the specifications and standards of the exam paper for the current mid-semester exams.

         
   
         

By moving the discussions to the sectors of postgraduate studies and community service, Prof. Ahmad Al-Shawki; The Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies discussed several topics in the session, most notably: approving the formation of committees to discuss several master's and doctoral theses, agreeing to travel to participate in research in an international conference, and approving the executive plan for project management activities during the months of April and May.

Prof. Nader Abdel Dayem, on behalf of the Director of the Quality Unit, showed several issues, most notably the approval of approving course descriptions and matrices for the undergraduate and graduate studies for the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023 AD.
