The Middle East Research and Future Studies Center held the second lecture of the sixth of the educational courses, "The ABCs of Politics and Law" in the hospitality of the Faculty of Business under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Affairs and Environmental Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Centre, Prof. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business, and in the presence of Prof. Mamdouh Abdel-Aleem, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, and Dr. Hatem Al-Abd, Director of the Center and a faculty member at the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University, and Major General Prof. Mohsen Mustafa Al-Fahham, professor of administrative law and a member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs.
Prof. Mamdouh Abdel-Aleem, started the lecture by welcoming the audience, then Dr. Hatem Al-Abed resumed clarifying some political and legal concepts, then he was followed by Prof. Mohsen Al-Fahham, who emphasized the need to spread awareness among young people and protect them from polarization attempts that target them, whether from extremist groups or through calls for atheism and deviance from eastern traditions and constants, which in turn led to the spread of violence and various forms of moral decay, as well as the exploitation of social media to spread Rumors and provoking strife and unrest among the various groups of the people, which in turn necessitates the need to intervene to protect young people from such phenomena that are alien to Egyptian and Arab society.
After the end of the lecture, Dr. Hatem Al-Abd, presented certificates of honor to Prof. Mohsen Al-Fahham, for his fruitful participation in the lecture, and to Prof. Khaled Kadri, for his kindness to host the lecture in the faculty and receive it on his behalf, Dr. Mamdouh Abdel-Aleem, and to Prof. Mamdouh Abdel-Aleem, for his kind attendance and participation.
