The electronic portal of Ain Shams University wins first place in the Egypt Award for Government Excellence

The portal of Ain Shams University won the first place in the website award, in the third session of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Director of the E-portal of Ain Shams University,and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences for Graduate Studies and Research, awarded the award and the first place shield from the Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Moustafa Madbouly at a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.

This came under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announced the names of the winners of the awards of the third round of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, in a ceremony organized by the ministry, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in the presence and honor of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Her Excellency Maryam Al-Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers in the Emirates, with the participation of a number of ministers, governors, ambassadors, a number of members of parliament, and representatives of the sisterly Arab Emirates.

   

It is noteworthy that Ain Shams University is keen to participate in the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, which was launched in 2018, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi; With the aim of stimulating the spirit of competition and excellence, whether at the level of employees or government institutions, by honoring those who are distinguished in the performance of public services, which contributes to raising levels of performance and adherence to standards of quality and excellence and enhancing the leadership and competitiveness of the Egyptian state, the university was represented by the Faculty of Computers and Information Sciences, won first place in the category of the Distinguished Government Institution Award in 2021, in which 450 colleges competed. Last January, the university formed a team to manage the Ain Shams University Internal Award for Excellence.
