Within the celebration of Egyptian women and the ideal mother, the Women's Support and Anti-Violence Unit at Ain Shams University organized a workshop entitled " Be Reassured " for more than 200 male and female students in the conference hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Hind Al-Hilali, Executive Director of the Women's Support Unit, and in the presence of Dr. Amani Abdel-Aal is a clinical psychologist and a training consultant for window trainers in the Women’s Support and Anti-Violence Unit.
Prof. Hind Al-Hilali, Executive Director of the Women's Support Unit, introduced male and female students to the unit and the services provided, and Dr. Amani Abdel-Aal, clinical psychologist and a training consultant for window trainers in the Women’s Support and Anti-Violence Unit, trained.
The workshop included practical solutions for how girls face violence and harassment that occur in the street and on public transportation. Real situations that girls are exposed to on a daily basis were presented through the participation of male and female students in some of the situations that occur with them and a review of how to act through psychodrama and role-play with the participation of male and female students through a presentation awareness videos to help students on how to help a person who is subjected to violence or harassment without falling into danger.
On the sidelines of the workshop, awareness campaigns were conducted on the role of the Women's Support Unit at the university to support girls in solving the problems they face inside and outside the university campus.
