Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fellowship Fund, announced the lifting of the insurance advantage on the basis of December 31, 2014, for the second time during his presidency of the University and without any additional fees to the members of the Fund, during the events of the annual general assembly of the Fund The fellowship was attended by Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, A. Samir Abdel Nasser, General Secretary of the University, Treasurer MR .Mohammed Ali Lotfi, Auditor General and. Nasser Al-Adly is director of the Fellowship Fund and director general of legal affairs at the university.
During his speech, Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat praised the efforts of all the team of the Board of Directors of the Fund and their ability and efficiency in investing the fund funds in a number of financial portfolios that give a high return, which led to the approval of the expert to raise the insurance advantage in the hope of continuing to work with the same efficiency and Increase it to achieve a higher return each year.
Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid pointed out that increasing the insurance advantage is an achievement that counts not only for the Board of Directors of the Fund but an achievement for the management of the university, which was and will continue to work in a team for the common good and raise the name of the university and its progress.
A. Samir Abdel Nasser reviewed the actuarial expert's report, where he explained the increase of the budget surplus by 30 million pounds, which provided an opportunity to increase the insurance advantage by 3.25% for each month of the contribution to pension, death or total or partial disability.
New members were also elected in place of the three members whose terms have expired, including (1) faculty members and (2) employees of the university administration and colleges.
Dr. Tamader Taha Abdul Rahman, a member of the faculty, A. Mohammed Hamed Abdul Hamid of the General Department of Nutrition, and A. Rajab Hassan Ali, the Department of Movement and Transport, were elected by representatives of the university's staff
