The Faculty of Girls, at Ain Shams University, celebrated the annual Loyalty Day, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The celebration was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, who confirmed in her words that the Day of Loyalty is an annual tradition that the faculty administration has been keen on for several years, in appreciation and gratitude to all professors who had a great role in serving the college and society, and had their contributions in graduating generations of students capable of Facing the challenges and difficulties and that the progress made by the faculty is due to their presence and participation in this epic, which had the greatest impact on the progress of the faculty technologically and scientifically.
The dean of the faculty honored 18 of the late professors of the faculty who had a footprint in the development of the faculty and its families received it on their behalf. She also honored 27 of the current professors, faculty staff who have reached the age of retirement, and they have enriched the faculty with their knowledge and lighted the way for all who come after them from professors and students without waiting thanks, and the faculty administration has the right to appreciate them in a symbolic way that does not fulfill their efforts.
Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, explained that this is a tradition that the college always maintains to honor the faculty staff and professors who gave a lot and spared no effort in order to raise the faculty.
The celebration was attended by a group of faculty staff, the honorees, their families, the assistant staff and their students. The party took place to the sounds of soft music, and an atmosphere of familiarity and family love prevailed. The dean of the faculty exchanged dialogue with the audience, and some memorial photos were taken.
