The Faculty of Education celebrates the International Day of Creativity and honors creators in the linguistic field in the Arab Ambassadors Competition in the twenty-first century

Within the framework of the community service and environmental development sector at the Faculty of Education at Ain Shams University, to build bridges of communication between the faculty and the community, and to keep pace with the international celebrations gathering creative forces, under the auspices of Prof. Safaa Shehata, Acting Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Alaa El-Din Abdel-Halim Mohamed Farag, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Education at Ain Shams University, through the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, organized the celebration of International Day of Creativity.

         
   
         

The celebration was organized under the supervision of Prof. Hassan Abdel-Maqsoud, Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at the Faculty, and in coordination and follow-up with Dr. Muhammad Al-Taher is responsible for the cultural activity in the Arabic language department at the faculty and a member of its community service committee.

         
     
         

Among the faculty staff of the Arabic Language Department, the following participated in the celebration: Prof. Nabil Muhammad Rashad, Professor of Literature and Criticism at the Department, and Prof. Wael Ali Al-Sayed is a professor of modern literature in the department. Many faculty staff, teaching assistants and students from the faculty attended.

The celebration included the presentation of a literary symposium that hosted a group of critics, writers and creators, members of the Prince of Poets’ Oasis for conservative poets who decorated the ceremony with their high-class literary participation, represented by Mr. Khaled Saad Abdel Hamid Faisal, Prof. Abeer Imam Muhammad Zakaria, Professor Imam Ibrahim Abdel Hamid Siraj, Mr. Darwish Muhammad Ismail Ali Jabal, Mr. Hussein Abu Saif, Dr. Doaa Rakha, whose contributions and poetic creativity were honored.

The meeting also included creative participation from students and graduates of the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Education at Ain Shams University in the fields of poetic and story recitation, singing and acting.

The winners of the Arab Ambassadors Competition in the Twenty-First Century organized by the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Education at Ain Shams University were also honored last April in the fields of linguistic creativity, where Ms. Ola Karim Wasfi won the creativity award in teaching Arabic, and Ms. Amal Mazhar Mahmoud Al-Bari won the award for creativity in story writing, Ms. Jihad Fayez Abdel Mohsen won the award for creativity in poetic recitation, Ms. Rahma Jamal Sharaf Al-Din won the award for creativity in acting performance in classical Arabic, and Ms. Shorouk Saeed won the award for creativity in singing.

Signs of creative integration appeared during the celebration, and everyone was praised in appreciation of the creators and sponsorship of their talent, whether from the students and graduates of the faculty or from the external community groups participating in the celebration.

At the conclusion of the celebration and the culmination of the manifestations of creativity, the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Education at Ain Shams University celebrated the publications of the faculty staff of the department.

Where the department celebrated the issuance of five parts of the series Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers, which was written by Prof. Hassan Abdel Maqsoud, Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, at the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University. The attendees also celebrated the issuance of the second poetic collection of Dr. Muhammad Al-Taher, Assistant Professor of Linguistic Sciences, at the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University, in an atmosphere of happiness and joy.

Prof. Alaa Al-din Abdel Halim, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, at the end of the ceremony, expressed his great happiness at mobilizing these creative energies on World Creativity Day, stressing the importance of the university's role in nurturing creativity and developing the spirit of innovation.

In the end, memorial photos were taken with everyone, and it was recommended to repeat the celebrations supporting creativity and creators, and to hold many competitions that stimulate the spirit of competition and creativity, which is a necessary requirement for that along with promoting investment in people and building their creative capabilities by urging an increase in knowledge Innovation and scientific research in all fields in support of Egypt's Vision 2030 to achieve sustainable development in all fields.
