The "Arabic Harmony" choir - one of the choirs of Ain Shams University - continues its brilliance and successes, under the auspices of Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, where he starred in the closing ceremony of the eleventh annual conference of the university "Knowledge Economy for a Better Life".
On his part, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud indicated that the university, the education sector, and the students took it upon themselves to support the talents of the university students in all fields, especially the artistic one, as he was behind the rise of a number of choirs and artistic teams from the university’s distinguished students with diverse talents, which present various colors of Arabic and Western singing, and they are the “Rouh Al Sharq Choir, Arabic Harmony Choir, On Choir, the Faculty of Specific Education Choir, Western choir, and Ain Shams Sings in Difference Choir”.
Also, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud, added that the diversity witnessed by the university's six choirs, if anything, indicates the greatness of Ain Shams University, which has a five-star rating in the international ranking Qs, stressing that the university is full of diverse talents in various technical, sports and scientific fields that it presents to the dear homeland, indicating that Ain Shams University is the biggest winner from discovering and refining her children's talents.
And about the distinctive idea adopted by an Arab Harmony Choir, which is to present collective singing, which dates back to its heritage history, by the artist Sayed Darwish, with time, it began to recede, and since then came the idea of Arab Harmony to shed light on the idea of collective singing in Harmony, which means the harmony between different voices with music that carries a greater dimension and depth of singing and melody, and an attempt to present the Arab singing heritage in a way that suits the modern taste and varies between religious muwashshaat, and the authentic Arabic singing of the giants of Arabic singing, such as the artist Abdel Wahhab, Umm Kulthum and Zakaria Ahmed.
