It is mentioned that Al-Demerdash Pasha stipulated that a prayer place be held in the hospital and that a room be built for him to bury him in. This shrine was built and he was buried in it.

One of the ten conditions set by Al-Demerdash Pasha, as stated in the donation letter, was that a bust of me be placed inside the hospital with the following phrase written on its base (the statue of Sayyid Abd Al-Rahim Al-Demerdash Pasha, the builder of this hospital).

However, the statue was not finished at the time of his death in 1929 AD, and the artist did not finish it until 1931 AD with the completion of the hospital building. This statue was made by Professor Anton Hajjar from bronze.
