The winning of Prof. Maha Nasr, a Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Khalifa Award for Education at the level of the Arab world in its 16th session

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the University Awards Office extend their sincere congratulations to Prof. Maha Nasr, Professor of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, at Ain Shams University, for winning the Khalifa Award for Education in its 16th session in the field of higher education at the level of the Arab world, in the category of Distinguished University Professor.

It is worth noting that Prof. Maha Nasr graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, at Ain Shams University in 2003. She obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the university in 2012. She undertook a six-month post-doctoral scientific mission at Leiden University in the Netherlands in 2013 and obtained funding from the British Academy of Medical Sciences to travel as a visiting professor for a month at the University of Bradford, England, in 2015.

It was awarded the State Encouragement Award for Advanced Sciences and Technology that Serves Medical Sciences in 2017, Shawqi Al-Haddad Award for Cancer Tumors in 2018, Obada International Award for Distinguished Researchers Under 40 Years in 2019, COMSTECH Award for Best Scientific Research in Biological Sciences in 2018, Kwame Nkrumah Award for Excellence Scientific degree in the field of life sciences at the North African level in 2019, the ACDIMA Award for Best Applied Research in 2018, and the Order of Excellence of the First Class in 2020. She also obtained funding for several projects funded from inside Egypt and internationally in the field of drug delivery and the application of nanotechnology in the treatment of diseases.

Her Excellency has published more than 100 international research and participated in many international conferences as a speaker. Her Excellency was chosen as a member of the Arab Regional Office of the World Academy of Sciences as a young representative, as a young fellow of the African Academy of Sciences, and as a member of the International Youth Academy. She was also honored for obtaining the next Einstein fellowship by the President of Rwanda.

Her Excellency was also included among the top 2% of world scientists according to the Stanford University classification for the last three years, and finally, her Excellency won the Khalifa Award for Education at the level of the Arab world in its 16th session in the field of higher education at the level of the Arab world in the category of Distinguished University Professor.

The university administration wishes her sovereignty more distinction and brilliance. It is mentioned that the leadership of Ain Shams University pays great attention to its scholars in various fields and works to continue encouraging them and providing all capabilities to enable them to be creative in order to achieve the university's mission of excellence and leadership.
