Vice President of Ain Shams University for Postgraduate Studies honors those in charge of the Cardiology Department during the Postgraduate Studies Council

Prof. Ayman Salih, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, during the Postgraduate Studies and Research Council, honored Prof. Azza Abdullah El-Feki, Head of the Cardiology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Mervat Abu El-Maati, Emeritus Professor in the Department, specializing in Cardiac Electrophysiology.

         
   
         

Prof. Ayman Saleh confirmed that honoring came due to the efforts made by the Department of Cardiology in Ain Shams Medicine to train postgraduate students in horizons greater than required in master's and doctoral programs, and the extensive use of technology in education and training and the promotion of soft powers for our country through training Arabs and Africans in Egypt and abroad without bearing any financial burdens while increasing the resources of the college and university through scientific activity.

Prof. Azza El-Feki indicated that the Department of Cardiology at Ain Shams Medicine presented, during the previous period, a lot of research and training efforts to ultimately benefit students and researchers in the field of specialization through lectures, training courses, seminars and workshops for the specialty, and this is a good opportunity for students and researchers to see everything new in the field of heart.

         
   
         

She also pointed out the importance of the educational channel for the Department of Cardiology on YouTube, as it broadcasts all courses, seminars, conferences and lectures for the Department of Cardiology, Ain Shams University, and this helps to train many students and researchers in the field of specialization.

Prof. Azza Al-Fiki added that there is a direct link between the channel and the University of Chicago to broadcast lectures and training courses that the department provides for training in the field of specialization.

She explained that the channel is followed by 2 million and 600 thousand followers worldwide, 50% of whom are from Egypt and the rest are from India and America. Egypt, 3% from India, and 43% from the rest of the world.

Prof. Mervat Abul-Maati, added that a course of cardiac electrosciences was conducted on the Zoom platform in the French language for doctors from West Africa, and a scientific cooperation agreement was concluded between Ain Shams University and the University of Cote d'Ivoire in the field of heart, to train doctors from Cote d'Ivoire in the Department of Cardiology at Ain Shams University, and to make field visits to professors from Ain Shams to Cote d'Ivoire to train doctors there.
