A delegation from the Faculties of Engineering and Computer and Information Sciences is in a work visit to the University of East London

A delegation from Ain Shams University represented by Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, accompanied by Prof. Mahmoud Khalil, Director of International Programs for Engineering in the credit hour system, his deputy for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Banna, Dr. Tamer Samir, Coordinator Dual Degree Programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Hanan Yousry, Coordinator of Dual Degree Programs at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Dr. Dalia Lewis, Coordinator of the Computer Engineering and Software Systems Program, Dr. Hani El-Sayed, Coordinator of the Mechatronics and Automation Engineering Program, Dr. Amr Magdy, Coordinator of the Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Program, and Dr. Mariam Al-Bari, Coordinator The Bioinformatics Program, went in a work visit to the University of East London in the United Kingdom, in light of the activities of the international partnership between the two universities in the double bachelor's degree programs offered by the two universities to their students.

   
   

During the visit, all matters related to dual degree programs in the two faculties were discussed, how to increase the effectiveness and scope of scientific cooperation between the two universities, and work together to improve the work systems in force between the two universities and develop mechanisms and work systems that would facilitate and strengthen cooperation between the two universities in all fields.

The visit resulted in the preparation of several summer workshops in England, which will be offered to Ain Shams University students in the summer semester 2023, in addition to preparing to offer a set of specialized scientific seminars and lectures via the Internet for students of the two faculties, starting from the fall semester 2023.

This is in addition to developing an initial vision of how student exchange works between the two universities and also at the level of faculty members, and how the two universities participate in teaching activities and in evaluating projects carried out by students in both universities.
