In cooperation with the electronic portal... The University Awards Office meets in its 38th meeting with Prof. Maha Nasr, winner of the Khalifa Award for Education for its 16th session

Based on the keenness of Ain Shams University to achieve excellence and competition, and as a continuation of the leadership of Ain Shams University in the field of awards through its pioneering and distinguished scholars in various fields, and to benefit from the practical experience of recipients of prestigious awards, the University Awards Office continued in cooperation with the electronic portal its meetings, and held its thirty-seventh meeting For recipients of prestigious awards as well as pioneers, which was held at the University’s Networking and Information Technology Center on May 30, 2023, under the supervision of Dr. Islam Hegazy, Executive Director of the Center for Networking and Information Technology, Prof. Rasha Ismail, Director of the Electronic Portal, Prof. Alaa Abdel Halim Farag, General Supervisor of the Awards Office at the University.

The Awards Office hosted Prof. Maha Nasr, Professor of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University, who won the Khalifa Award for Education for its 16th session at the level of the Arab world - Distinguished University Professor category for the year 2023. In her speech, she referred to the journey of excellence that she went through, which was permeated by patience, seriousness, perseverance, goal setting, insightful vision, and precise organization of time, which enabled her to obtain many prestigious awards, including the State Encouragement Award for Science and Advanced Technology that Serves Medical Sciences in 2017, Shawqi Al-Haddad Award for Cancer Tumors 2018, Ubadah International Award for Distinguished Researchers Under 40 Years of 2019, COMSTECH Award for Best Scientific Research in Biological Sciences in 2018, Kwame Nkrumah Award for Scientific Excellence in the Field of Life Sciences at the North African Level in 2019 and ACDIMA Award for Best Applied Research in 2018 and Medal of Excellence First class in 2020.

   
   

Her Excellency has published more than 100 international papers, and she was honored to receive the Next Einstein Fellowship from the Head of State of Rwanda. It is also worth noting that her sovereignty was included among the top 2% of world scientists according to the Stanford University classification for the last three years, and her sovereignty was chosen for membership in the university's research council.

Her Excellency also emphasized the prominent role of Ain Shams University in supporting scientific research and rewards for international publication. Her Excellency thanked the keenness of the university administration headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini and the deputies for providing all kinds of support and facilitation and supporting participation in conferences, and Her Excellency sent a message to the university’s youth researchers about the importance of self-development and cooperation with scientific authorities and the need to accurately define goals and permanent work on excellence and leadership in the fields of specialization and continue learning and communication in scientific research with professors specialists, and work more to be able to achieve self-realization and obtain prestigious awards. And work to achieve the Egyptian dream for youth and community issues with the necessity of preserving the Egyptian identity and working on the elevation and leadership of our ancient university.
