In the implementation of the assignments of the Prime Minister… A meeting of the Ministers of Higher Education and Housing and the Governors of Cairo and Giza to discuss mechanisms for developing the visual image of the Ring Road

Within the framework of assignments of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, to develop the visual image of the Ring Road in light of the current procedures to prepare for the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, held a meeting with Dr. Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and Major General Khaled Abdel Aal, Governor of Cairo, and Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, in the building of the Ministry of Higher Education in Special Education in New Cairo.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Higher Education indicated that Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, assigned Cairo and Ain Shams Universities to prepare a plan to develop the visual image of the Ring Road, after completing the removals and expansions that took place on the road.

         
   
         

Dr. Ayman Ashour added that a joint work team from the Faculties of Engineering at Cairo and Ain Shams Universities developed a civilized vision to develop the visual image of the Ring Road toward the Grand Egyptian Museum, in light of the preparations for its opening, especially since the Ring Road is one of the main ways to reach the museum, explaining that an integrated study was prepared on the implementation of the project through the joint work team between the two universities.

Dr. Assem El-Gazzar praised the efforts made by the work team at the Faculties of Engineering at Ain Shams and Cairo Universities, pointing out the importance of reaching a final vision to start implementing the project development work.

The meeting dealt with presenting some proposals for developing the visual image of the Ring Road, according to the study presented by the joint team from the Faculties of Engineering at the Two Universities.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Hossam El-Din Abdel-Fattah, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, at Cairo University, Dr. Akram Farouk, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, at Ain Shams University, Dr. Tarek Ibrahim Nasr, Director of the Architectural Design Support Center at Cairo University, Dr. Engy Al-Barmalji, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, at Cairo University, and Dr. Omnia Mamdouh, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, at Cairo University, and Dr. Hussein Farid, a teacher at the Faculty of Engineering, at Ain Shams University.

It is worth noting that Dr. Mustafa Madbouly had held several meetings with Dr. Ayman Ashour and the deans of the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo and Ain Shams Universities to develop a civilized vision for developing the visual image of the Ring Road as part of the preparation work for the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, as the Ring Road is one of the main ways to reach the Museum, and His Excellency directed the completion of detailed studies for each area of the Ring Road, in preparation for the start of the project work.
