Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, said that the control work and correction of the second semester exams for the undergraduate and postgraduate studies have been completed, coinciding with the last day of the end of the exams, which were conducted under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, and supervision of Prof. Shereen Mazloum, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.
The results included the following sections: Libraries and Information, Hebrew Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, French Language and Literature, Geographic Information Systems, Philosophical Studies, Ancient European Civilization and Languages, Drama and Theatrical Criticism, Oriental Languages and Literature (all people), Antiquities (all people).
The results of the distinguished programs were also announced: Hebrew and Israeli Studies, Inter-English Studies, and Geomatics.
The postgraduate affairs sector, headed by Prof. Shereen Mazloum announced the results of postgraduate studies with the credit hour system for departments: Oriental Languages, History, French Language, Philosophical Studies, and Ancient European Civilization on the UMS system.
The exams began on May 21, 2023 and lasted for a month, amidst all the departments joining forces to make the examination process a success.
The questions varied between essay, objective, and hybrid, and the exams were corrected electronically on the same day through the Measurement and Evaluation Unit to quickly announce the results of students, and the results were announced first-hand on the official page of the Faculty and on the student’s university email, and the Ain Shams electronic platform ums for announcing the results of different students Faculties and their study systems so that students can see their estimates and their position on skipping the academic class or not without the need to go to the Faculty headquarters.
The Dean of the Faculty also stated that the results of the rest of the departments and programs will be announced at the beginning of next week, and the door for petitions will be opened after Eid al-Adha holiday, and then registration for the summer semester will be available in the first week of July.
