Master's Program in Child Health and Disabilities

The program is focusing on preparing the researcher academically by teaching him how to prepare outstanding scientific research in the field of child and adolescent health and disabilities on the one hand, and with everything related to children and adolescents in terms of diseases affecting them and methods of treatment, and mental illnesses and methods of treatment and discovery and early intervention of disabilities on the other hand.

Why Study this program?

The program is focusing on preparing the researcher academically by teaching him how to prepare a master's thesis in accordance with the scientific methods in the field of medicine and surgery, and professionally in the diagnosis and treatment of children's physical and psychological diseases, preventive medicine, diagnosis of disabilities and the preparation of rehabilitation programs for children with special needs.

The Academic Program:

The study is based on credit hours and the number of them during the years of study: (55) credit hours and (4) credit hours optional; over (4) semesters to complete the requirements of graduation, and the subject of master’s thesis is registered after success in the second level and is discussed after a minimum of one year from the date of registration.

Language of instruction: English.

Degree: Master’s in child health and Disabilities.

Specialization/Departments:

Child health and Disabilities.

Admission Requirements:

The student must have a bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery from an Egyptian university or equivalent by a decision of the Supreme Council of Universities with at least grade “good” or a diploma in Pediatrics, Psychiatry or Preventive Medicine with grade “good” at least, and spent the privilege year.

Required Documents:

Original birth certificate.

Original Bachelor certificate of graduation (equivalented from the Supreme Council of Universities).

(2) copies of the passport.

(6) personal photos.

A letter from the cultural attaché regarding the admission to the faculty, indicating the party paying the tuition fees (student or cultural attaché).

Completion of the application form for admission to the faculty through the General Directorate for the admission and granting of international students.

Certificate of freedom from AIDS.

Admission Dates:

- Academic programs: From the first of July until the end of March each year for international students.

- Non- Egyptian students: (1500) dollars paid for the first time + (4500) dollars expenses paid annually.
