The Faculty of Business Council honors the President of Ain Shams University and his Vice President for Postgraduate Studies

The Council of the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University, in its session held on Saturday, June 24, honored both Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, where Prof. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty, gifted them with the shield of honor in the presence of the members of the Faculty Council.

In his speech, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini extended his thanks and appreciation to the Faculty of Business and Prof. Khaled Qadri for this honor, stressing that the team spirit of all university and faculty leaders is one of the most important reasons for the achievements that have been made during the last period.

         
   
         

He added that the administration of the Faculty of Business is distinguished and an active partner in all the successes achieved by the university, stressing that there is an ambitious plan that has been developed for the university and that what has been achieved represents part of it, and developments will continue to reach the best.

He stressed that the university seeks to achieve an attractive educational environment, in light of the fierce and accelerating competition and race, and called for encouraging international publishing and seeking to raise the international classification of the university.

Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, also thanked him for the honor, and praised the administration of the Faculty of Business, describing it as a disciplined and diligent administration to provide distinguished educational service to its students, and the faculty professors were a good helper for the university administration in many matters, especially administrative and financial.

         
   
         

He called on the faculty leaders to motivate researchers to publish internationally, especially in the fields of humanities and social sciences.

In his speech, Prof. Khaled Kadri praised the unprecedented achievements witnessed by all sectors of the university during Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini’s presidency of the university, in addition to developing the infrastructure and launching projects such as Ain Shams Medical City, private universities, and the establishment of the Networks Building and the Innovation Center,

In addition to the development witnessed by the control works, exams, electronic courses, the international classification of the university, and other achievements.

Prof. Khaled Qadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business, added that there is interest in faculty staff and university staff, and interest in students and student activities.

         
   
         

He also praised the development witnessed by the graduate studies sector during the tenure of Prof. Ayman Saleh and his role in raising the efficiency of scientific research and international publishing and developing regulations to serve scientific research at the university.

In her speech, Prof. Hiyam Wahba, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business for Graduate Studies and Research, confirmed that Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, has a future vision through which he was able to make remarkable progress in all sectors of the university.

She also praised the role of Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, in upgrading the postgraduate studies and scientific research system within the university and his interest in students and overcoming all obstacles facing them, in addition to his interest in international publishing.

It is also worth noting that the honor was attended by two groups of Chicago scholarship students during the years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. The students presented bouquets of flowers to each of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, thanking the university administration and the faculty administration for their efforts and support for the Chicago scholarship students,

Where Prof. Hayam Wahba, general coordinator of the agreement and supervisor of students, explained that so far 20 students from the faculty have received the scholarship since 2018, while 3 students have had the opportunity to complete their studies and graduate from the University of Chicago.
