Graduating the last batch of the Pharmaceutical Design Program at the College of Pharmacy

In an atmosphere of enthusiasm and competition, the Faculty of Pharmacy, at Ain Shams University, discussed the graduation projects of the final year students of the 12th and final batch of the Pharmaceutical Design Program with the credit hour system, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education, Student Affairs, and Environmental Development, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service Affairs, and Prof. Amani Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Rehab Othman, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abu Zaid, coordinator of the credit hours program, and Dr. Nermin Victor and Dr. Dina Omar, Deputy Program Coordinator.

Prof. Amani Osama Kamel initiated the day by giving a motivating word and advised the students to pay attention to publishing in scientific journals after completing research projects, due to their importance and what they offer and allow them to obtain better job opportunities.

7 research projects implemented by 72 male and female students were presented under the supervision of 11 supervisors from the faculty staff of the faculty and were judged by a committee of 20 professors from various faculties of pharmacy in Egypt.

It is worth mentioning and what makes the sons of the Faculty of Pharmacy, at Ain Shams University, proud that one of the projects has been published in a prestigious international scientific journal (Q1).

Today was in the presence of Prof. Khaled Abu Shanab, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Rola Milad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Nahed Mortada, professor of pharmaceutics and industrial pharmacy and former dean of the faculty, Prof. Maha Farouk, professor of analytical chemistry and former dean of the faculty, Prof. Hala Al-Muslimi - Professor of Biochemistry, Prof. Khaled Abu Zaid - Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Prof. Nayeh Hamdy - Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Prof. Rania Hathout - Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy, Prof. Asst. Dr. Sarah Saleh, Assistant Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Professor at the Department of Pharmacognosy, and Prof. Sahar Radwan, Head of the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Girls, at Al-Azhar University.

Prof. Amani Osama Kamel concluded the celebration by presenting certificates of thanks and appreciation to all faculty staff supervising and arbitrating projects.

It is worth noting that at the end of the day, 3 of the projects were announced to have won shields
