Honoring the Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Students in the third edition by the Global Hope Givers Campaign

The global campaign "Givers of Hope" honored Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, for his humanitarian efforts and dedication to making the world a better place that inspires positive change and gives hope to countless individuals and societies. Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, participated in an Arab Harmony Choir, one of the choirs of Ain Shams University, in the third edition of the global campaign, the Hope Giver campaign, which included more than 21 countries around the world, and which was held at the Cairo Festival City Theater in New Cairo.

This comes within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to participate in local and international forums and under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

         
   
         

Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, showed his great happiness with the precious honor from the “Givers of Hope” campaign, which is an inspiring campaign on how to turn ordeal into a grant, which he personally experienced as a professor at the Faculty of Medicine and a surgeon who witnessed many difficult and intractable cases that managed to overcome pain and disease.

His Excellency also indicated that Ain Shams University has more than 250 thousand male and female students, including thousands of students with determination and hundreds of students with chronic diseases. With the great support of the Egyptian state and with the help of civil society organizations, whether chronic diseases, cancer, or the provision of artificial limbs.

         
   
         

His Excellency added that Ain Shams University gifted the Egyptian art with three distinct artistic choirs, which are “The Spirit of the East Choir,” “On” choir, and “Arabic Harmony” choir, in addition to the first choir, all of whose members are people with special needs, which is “Ain Shams Sings in Different” choir, in addition to the participation of people of determination in all activities of Ain Shams University, whether theater or choir, in addition to five theaters at the highest level.

His Excellency gave greetings from Ain Shams University to all the givers of hope, and he invited Captain Anwar Al-Kamouni, founder of the Global Donors Campaign, to present the next concert at the Faculty of Medicine theater "Prof. Dr. Al-Mahlawi Theater" at the expense of Ain Shams University in full.

         
   
         

Captain Anwar Al-Kamouni, founder of the Global Givers Campaign, thanked and appreciated Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, for his support to the Hope Givers Campaign.

The surprise of the celebration was the campaign song, with the participation of the great star Safaa Abu Al-Saud, with an Arab Harmony Choir led by Maestro Mahmoud Waheed, composed and distributed by Sharif Al-Wasimi, and the words of the poet Muhammad Al-Samanudi, which was specially prepared for the celebration to spread hope around the world.

It is noteworthy that the Givers of Hope campaign is inspired by the story of Anwar Al-Kamouni to overcome the impossible, being the only athlete in the world who returned to the world rankings after a failure in the bone marrow. He represents hope and a role model for all cancer patients around the world. During the last period for cancer and heart patients, people with special needs and orphans in a number of countries of the world, the campaign attracted thousands of volunteers around the world to spread noble and purposeful values, which is helping others, which has reached 21 countries so far.

         
   
         

The campaign was based on 5 main axes, namely, cancer, special needs, sustainable development, sports, art and humanitarian projects. In addition, the “Ambassadors of Hope” campaign is an inspiring personality (athletes, public figures, influencers, survivors).

The ceremony was presented by the artist, Simone, and the ceremony was attended by a group of community stars, including Captain Anwar Al-Kamouni, founder of the Global Hope Givers Campaign, Dr. Gelan Ahmed, CEO of Baheya Foundation, Dr. Zainab Alloub, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gardens of Eternity Association, and a large number of guests.

The event was attended by Baheya Foundation, Al-Nas Hospital, the National Association for Orphans, Ain Shams University, and Jannat Al-Kholoud Association.
