The winners of the startups track in the Ain Shams Innovate competition 2023

The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University announced the names of the winners of the Ain Shams Innovate Competition for the year 2023, which is held under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, in cooperation with the International Relations Sector headed by Prof. Shahira Samir and the Alumni Association headed by Prof. Reem Al Kabariti, organized by Dr. Muhammad Al-Buhairi, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Mohammed Sheikh, Director of the Technology Transfer Unit, Dr. Islam Adly, Director of Student Activities, ASU-iClub, and the winners are:

Nouran Farouk for Dosy, a platform for riding scooters and bicycles based on technology. The application aims to encourage women and girls in Egypt to ride scooters.

Abanoub Jamal about the application of Extractor co and he develops an easy, simple, high cost and low cost machine to extract active ingredients from medicinal and aromatic plants in one step instead of the traditional technology which consumes energy and wastes 40% of active ingredients during extraction process at the same time.

Salem Nabil on Flankers, an app an Agritech startup has developed an agricultural drone with AI-based disease detection capabilities. This drone revolutionizes crop monitoring and management by providing real-time insights and accurate monitoring of land changes. Using advanced sensors and cameras, the drone captures high-resolution images and thermal data to detect diseases, pests, and abnormalities in crops.

Menna Salameh Beyond Reality Solutions on a startup that specializes in providing XR technologies and motivational solutions in areas as diverse as healthcare to advertising and digital culture

Mostafa Mohamed Akoub AgriTech Services for the idea of a startup specializing in pollination of palm trees and spraying pesticides using artificial intelligence and data analysis by drones.

Sherif El Nabrawy for Vero application, which provides immersive solutions ranging from 3D interactive applications, augmented reality, 360 virtual tours and GIS applications. Through a team group in the field of research and development in the field of virtual reality in various fields such as real estate, retail, education and training, and tourism.

The closing ceremony of Ain Shams Innovates 2023 Forum is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the center's headquarters.
