These certificates are in different specializations according to each department with different branches and in the latest new scientific research positions.
For a student to register for a professional or research master’s degree, he must have a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural sciences from one of the universities or institutes subject to the Universities Organizing Law, or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.
The applicant may be a graduate of one of the colleges with specializations related to the College of Agriculture, and the rules regulating this apply to it.

* Doctor of Philosophy
Registration requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy:
To have a research master’s degree in agricultural sciences from one of the universities or institutes subject to the Universities Organizing Law, or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. Or a research master’s degree in one of the colleges with specializations related to the College of Agriculture, provided that the average of his grades in the master’s courses is not less than very good.

5- A letter of recommendation from the Supervising Committee that the research master's degree confirms the student's eligibility and competency to register for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

Number of academic years:
- Professional Master’s: The duration of study is two years and the student does not qualify to register for the Doctor of Philosophy degree.
- Research Master’s: not less than two years and not more than four years from the date of registration. The registration may be extended for one calendar year after the approval of the department and the college council.
- Doctor of Philosophy: Not less than three years and not more than five years from the date of registration. The registration may be extended for one Gregorian year after the approval of the department and the College Council.
Number of credit hours:
Professional Master's: 61 credit hours (18 courses)
Research Master's: 57 credit hours (19 courses)
Doctor of Philosophy: 53 credit hours (21 courses)
Professional Masters:
The student studies 28 credit hours for the compulsory courses, which are as follows: 9 hours in the major + 7 hours as a university requirement + 12 hours as a college requirement.
It teaches 24 credit hours for elective courses, which are as follows: 18 hours in the major + 6 hours outside the major.
The student performs practical training in the college labs and farms for 9 credit hours.
Research Master's:
The student studies 3 university courses + 5 college courses + 3 compulsory courses from the department + 6 elective courses from within the specialization + 2 elective courses from outside the specialization.
Doctor of Philosophy:
The student studies 3 university courses + 5 college courses + 4 compulsory courses from the department + 7 elective courses from within the specialization + 2 elective courses from outside the specialization.
