The Faculty of Specific Education honors Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University

The Faculty of Specific Education at Ain Shams University honored Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, in recognition of his constant support for the university and the faculty over the past years, in a celebration organized by the faculty under the auspices of Prof. Osama Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, and the presence of the Vice-Deans, heads of departments, and a group of faculty staff and the teaching assistants.

         
   
         

In his speech, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini thanked the Faculty of Specific Education and its leaders for this honor, and also congratulated the faculty administration on the occasion of obtaining programmatic accreditation for more than one program in the faculty.

His Excellency touched on the development vision of the Faculty of Specific Education at the university, which will have a place in the new site of Ain Shams Private University within the new administrative capital, where excavations have already begun on an area of 192 acres, to become the university No. 12 next to 11 other public universities that have the backs of private universities.

         
   
         

As Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, presented an overview of the history of the palace and theater of Talaat Pasha Harb, whose construction dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century, specifically in the year 1920 AD, His Excellency demanded the need to document the theater, similar to the Zaffran Palace.

In his speech, Prof. Osama Al-Sayed confirmed that this day is a day of gratitude and appreciation for the uninterrupted giving of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini and his outstanding efforts, as he made a lot of effort to support and raise the status of the university and the faculty, and that the great role played by the college in all educational, research and community fields came as a result of hard work as a one team work, expressing his happiness at working with the current university presidency for many years, culminating in the success that everyone attests to.

         
   
         

It is noteworthy that the concert, through an orchestra of the Faculty of Specific Education led by Maestro Yasser Farouk, professor at the Department of Musical Education, presented a number of Arab heritage songs and various musical paragraphs, a mural featuring various forms of art was also inaugurated by the students of the Department of Art Education under the supervision of Prof. Sally Shebel, Professor, at the Department of Art Education, and Prof. Asst. Dr. Manal Sarhan in the department.
