The President of Ain Shams University inaugurates the developing project of Ain Shams Specialized Hospital

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, opened the work of the project of developing Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, in the presence of Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals and Prof. Hesham Anwar, Director of Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, Prof. Waled Anwar, former director of Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, and Prof. Gamal Hussein, former director of the Engineering Consulting Office, and a group of doctors and heads of departments.

         
   
         

Where Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini checked on the development work, which included the completion of the work to raise the efficiency of the infrastructure at Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, and the basement development project, which includes the development of infrastructure and service networks for medical units, consisting of 4 entrances on a total area estimated at 12 thousand square meters, in addition to the general site of the hospital, which includes gates 1 to 4.

His Excellency also inspected the roads and corridors project, which included the work of replacing and renewing all networks in the roads and internal corridors of the hospital, at a total cost of 165 million pounds.

         
   
         
         
   
         

In his speech, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, confirmed the importance and return behind the development of infrastructure, which, despite being invisible, is a foundation without which no project can continue, calling for the establishment of the principle of managing facilities in the long term because of its importance in the continuity and success of any facility or project.

He praised the efforts of all those in charge of the development work, and particularly thanked the engineering consultancy office at the university, which carries out many national missions, stressing that the goal behind all of this is to provide health and medical services to the Egyptian citizen at the highest level of quality and efficiency and in accordance with the vision of the Egyptian state in providing a high level worthy of Egyptians.

         
   
         
         
   
         

Prof. Hesham Anwar, reviewed the development work, its importance, and the return behind it, and thanked the university's senior management that supported these efforts, as well as the current and previous management of university hospitals.

He also gave the shield of honor to Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, in gratitude and appreciation for his busy career as president of the university and his achievements.

He also honored Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and a group of current and former university hospital leaders for their role in developing the health system of university hospitals.
