At the end of the 30th Summit scouting session of the Egyptian Universities, the jury announced that Ain Shams University was awarded the first level in all fields. The universities of Tanta, Cairo, Suez Canal, Al-Azhar, Damietta and Menoufia were awarded the first level in all fields, and Sohag University got the second level.
The closing ceremony of the scouting session of the Egyptian Universities held at Ain Shams University was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. This was in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, advisor to the Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hamdy Mousa, Coordinator of the session, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed Amin, Faculty of Agriculture, Mr. Tarik Ahmed, Director General of Youth Welfare and Mrs. Asmaa Khater, Director of the Department of Scouting at the University.
The jury announced that Ain Shams University was awarded the first level in all fields. The University of Tanta, Cairo, Suez Canal, Al-Azhar, Damietta and Menoufia also got the first level in all fields. Sohag University got the second level, Mansoura University got the second level in religion and life, the third level in life skills and the first level in the other fields. In health and sports and the first in the other fields, the University of Suez also got the second level in the arts and literature and the third level in life skills and the first level in the rest of the fields.
Mohamed Mostafa of Ain Shams University received the Shield of "Ideal Leader" and Abdel Rahman Ahmed of Port Said University got the title of “Leader” and the Shield of "The Ideal confabulator" was awarded to Sherif Khamis at Al Azhar University. Mohamed Khaled received Cairo's "Perfect Scout" Shield and a Perfect Scout was selected for each participating delegation and honored distinguished delegation leaders.
The organizational structure of the session was also honored by all its committees, organizing committees, veteran leaders, the jury and the program committee, as well as the participants from Arab delegations from Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Libya.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal thanked the leaders of the university and scouting leaders for the good organization of the session and the commitment of all members of delegations and their appearance in an honorable and decent session. The ceremony included a number of words of thanks and tribute to the session of each of the Prof. Dr. Hamdy Mousa, session coordinator, Mr. Tarik Ahmed and Mrs. Asmaa, the representatives of the Arab delegations and the leader of the 30th Summit Scout leader, Islam Said and a number of scout leaders.
It is worth mentioning that the 30th summit Scout Session of the Egyptian universities began its activities since 29:20 August and participated for the first time three Arab delegations in addition to the participation of 14 Egyptian universities.
