In an Egyptian-Iraqi celebration... The Iraqi International Uruk Foundation awards the first Medal of Honor to the first Egyptian university professor, Prof. Abdul Fattah Saoud

In a modern celebration with a historical character, which was hosted by the Talaat Pasha Harb Archaeological Theater at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, and to the tunes of the republican peace of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the sisterly Republic of Iraq, and in the presence of an elite group of the elite of society and prestigious figures in Egypt and Iraq, a ceremony was held to award the first Medal of Honor for the Uruk International Award, to Professor Dr. Abdel Fattah Mohamed Fathi Saoud, the international orthopedic and spine surgeon and Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs.

Ambassador Muhammad Al-Orabi, the former Egyptian Foreign Minister, His Eminence Bishop Jeremiah, the general bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, and Dr. Thamer Al-Nasseri, Secretary-General of the Uruk International Award, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, awarded the First Medal of Honor to Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, amidst standing and warm applause from the crowd in appreciation of the prestigious scientific and moral value and stature of the celebrated.

         
   
         

This came in the presence of Prof. Muhammad Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs, His Excellency Ambassador Haider Al-Jubouri, Minister Plenipotentiary of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Ahmed Nasser, Cultural Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Egypt, representing His Excellency the Iraqi Ambassador, and the presence of Ambassador Ashraf Akl, Egyptian Ambassador to Yemen, Iraq and Jerusalem, Representative Raghda Nagati, a member of the House of Representatives, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, former president of Ain Shams University, Prof. Saleh Hashem, former president of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dalia Hussein Fahmy, advisor to the Uruk Cultural Foundation, and a group of deans and vice-presidents of various faculties of the university, directors of centers and units, members of the teaching staff, gentlemen of the university trustees, and a number of students from various faculties of the university.

During the ceremony, the words expressed the appreciation of the State of Iraq, the Iraqi people, and the Uruk International Cultural Foundation, their appreciation for the new republic and the progress that Egypt has witnessed over the past years, which included all fields under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The words also expressed their appreciation for what the Egyptian state possesses. It is a cultural, civilizational and moral heritage that was established at the hands and forearms of its loyal men and its great people.

         
   
         

The words emphasized that honoring Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud is a reflection and appreciation of his rich scientific career and outstanding scientific contributions that helped along with other efforts and achievements in all fields in the renaissance of the Egyptian nation.

In a sincere speech from the heart, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud expressed his pride and pride in receiving this prestigious international medal from an ancient country of glory and civilization, which is Mesopotamia, the brotherly country of Iraq, pointing out that the aim of the award is to revive and sustain the memory of every loyal person who plays his role in serving his country and that the honor is a message to restore the right to its owners, saying: " Receiving the first Medal of Honor for the Uruk International Award added a major mark to my resume, and that my efforts were based on love for the homeland and a desire to increase achievement by entering the field of public work.

Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud sent a message to the youth and to future generations, saying: "Hard work and immersion in solving the problems of your country is what leads you to globalization, to honor and success, and that whoever works hard finds and whoever sows reaps."

         
   
         

He concluded his speech with the verse of the wise remembrance of the Almighty’s saying: “As for the foam, it passes away with nothingness. And as for what benefits people, it remains on the earth.”

And accompanied the words of Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, during the ceremony, warm applause from the audience, affected by his sincere message emanating from the heart.

The ceremony for awarding the first Medal of Honor included a video speech by the international Iraqi artist, Naseer Shamma, Ambassador of Art for Peace at UNESCO and General Supervisor of the Uruk International Prize, in which he expressed his appreciation for the scientific stature of Professor Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud.

         
   
         

The ceremony also included honoring Dr. Thamer Al-Nasseri, Secretary-General of the Uruk International Foundation, and gifting him the shield of Ain Shams University, and presenting certificates of appreciation to each of Prof. Dalia Hussein Fahmy, advisor to the Uruk Cultural Foundation, Prof. Osama Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Prof. Marwa Amr Abdel Moneim, the conductor of the ceremony, and the Iraqi artist, Hammam Ibrahim.

On the sidelines of the ceremony of awarding the first Medal of Honor, a concert was held by the Iraqi artist, Hammam Ibrahim, accompanied by the Awtar and Al-Haramlek troupe, led by the artist, Dr. Marwa Amr Abdel Moneim.
