The Faculty of Pharmacy launches a medical convoy for the people of Al-Zawiya Al-Hamra, at Muhammad Farid Preparatory School for Girls

Today, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, launched the comprehensive medical convoy for the people of the Al-Zawiya Al-Hamra area at Mohamed Farid Preparatory School for Girls, which will last for four days, from August 6 to August 9, under the auspices of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University and Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Rola Melad Labib, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in cooperation with the Faculties of Dentistry and Nursing, Cairo Governorate and Al-Zawiya Al-Hamra neighborhood under the presidency of Major General Staff Abdullah Al-Deeb.

         
   
         

The convoy includes medical clinics for all specialties, as well as dentistry, in addition to measuring pressure and blood sugar for patients, in addition to a charitable pharmacy that provides medicines for free.

         
   
         
         
   
         

The convoy also includes awareness seminars for the people of the neighborhood in the field of women's and family health, as well as pediatrics. Lectures are also given to children on ways to prevent diseases and personal hygiene, in which a number of faculty members, the assistant staff, and some undergraduate students lecture.
