In pictures: Activities of the training program to enhance the capabilities of the Sustainability Center

The first phase of the TMT+ training program funded by Nuffic was launched today, which is a training program under the name “Interdisciplinary Approach to Tomorrow's Challenges: Strengthening Center of Excellence for Sustainability (CoES)by Innovative Training Methods on Water Food Nexus and Climate Smart agricultural knowledge”

The Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University hosted the activities of the first unit of training in the Weidong Smart Classroom. This program is organized by the Center of Excellence for Sustainability (CoES) at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with Delphi International, iCRA, the National Water Research Center (NWRC), and the National Agricultural Research Center of Egypt (ARC).

   
   

The training focuses on growing horticultural crops in open and protected fields, agricultural practices, and improving irrigation water management and linking it with the Water-Food nexus and climate-smart agriculture within the integrated production system at the headquarters of the Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University, to build the capacities of professionals working in agriculture with the latest innovations and sharing knowledge skills.
