The Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs witnesses the closing ceremony of the Military Cultures Exhibition activities

Within the framework of the Armed Forces’ celebrations commemorating the October victories and in appreciation of the efforts made by Ain Shams University to participate in these celebrations, the Popular Defense Forces, led by Major General Walid El-Hamaki, Commander of the Popular and Military Forces, organized in cooperation with Ain Shams University, and under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President University, and attended by Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Colonel Staff Officer Ahmed Fahmy, Director of the Military Education Department at the University. The closing ceremony of the sixteenth Military Cultures Exhibition at the conclusion of the activities of the sixteenth exhibition, which was organized by the Military Research Authority under the title “Memory of October 2023” in the period from October 2nd until October 5th with a panorama of the October War, within the framework of Egypt and the Armed Forces’ celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the glorious October victories.

         
   
         

This comes from Ain Shams University’s keenness to enrich the cultural and intellectual awareness of new generations and introduce them to the glories and heroics of the Egyptian and Arab military throughout the ages.

The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Military Research Authority, Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs. A number of commanders of the armed forces, a group of public figures and students of Egyptian universities also attended the activities.

Ain Shams University Choir also participated in the closing ceremony.

         
   
         

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud explained that the exhibition constitutes an important event for modern generations to learn about all defense fields and modern military technology systems, and is an occasion to review the latest products of military technology in the field of defense and to see the ancient weapons with which the Egyptian army fought until victory.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, shields were exchanged from both sides, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud was honored, and the Ain Shams University choir team was also honored.

This honor comes within the framework of offering thanks and gratitude to the Education and Student Affairs Sector, headed by Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud for their sincere effort and assistance during the October Panorama celebrations to appear in a decent and honorable appearance to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the victories of the October War.
