Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University and Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, received a delegation from Al-Amin Islamic University, Barandwan Sumenb Madura, from Indonesia, headed by Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Tijani, President of the University, Sheikh Dr. Muhtada Abdel Moneim, and a group of university leaders.
This came in the presence of Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Collaboration Sector at Ain Shams University, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Prof. Amira Ahmed Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Prof. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of the International Students and Mobility Office, and Dr. Samar Rajab, from the Faculty of Education.
The two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation, including the exchange of specialized professors, student exchange, participation in the fields of scientific research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and joint supervision of master’s and doctoral theses.
The deans also reviewed the various departments in their faculties and their various specializations, as well as the international partnerships and proposed aspects of cooperation
Also, Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady reviewed the services provided by the university to international students, while seeking to increase the number of foreign students and achieve cultural exchange between foreign and Egyptian students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides exchanged commemorative shields for the two universities.
