Discussing the renewal of the cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University and the Al Zayan Foundation for Communication

Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, received Dr. Iman Zayan, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Al Zayan Foundation for Communication, in order to agree to renew the cooperation protocol concluded in 2021 between the institution and the faculty, represented by the Center for Studies, Consultations and Training affiliated with the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the faculty, headed by Prof. Hanan Muhammad Salem. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Heba Al-Nadi, Director of the Psychological Service Unit, and Mr. Mustafa Al-Jarhi, Secretary of the Psychological Service Unit.

Prof. Hanan Kamel welcomed the organization’s officials and expressed her happiness for continued cooperation in the field of training and the provision of psychological counseling services and professional diplomas.

Prof. Hanan Kamel also called for the preparation of a group of free introductory lectures on the courses and diplomas to be held, and the provision of a group of free workshops in areas of interest to any student or recent graduate, such as: how to write a CV, introduction to psychological counseling and family counseling, and invite students to attend.

For his part, Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, welcomed the Al Zayan Foundation for Communication at the faculty, as the Al Zayan Foundation is one of the leading and distinguished institutions in the field of providing courses and professional development specialized in the fields of Communication and known for its efficiency at the Arab level. On the occasion of setting a contract with it for a period of three years, we look forward to further cooperation in achieving the goals that the faculty seeks in qualifying graduates to meet the needs of the labor market.

For her part, Prof. Hanan Muhammad Salem stressed that the cooperation between the faculty and the institution during the previous contract period resulted in a continuous increase in the number of beneficiaries of training courses and professional diplomas, and the development of the work team to become capable of management and production of good scientific material, this led to a keenness to continue joint cooperation and an expression of desire to renew the contract. It also suggested adding new training courses in various specializations related to the social sciences and paying attention to preparing social workers in the fields of the elderly and adolescents who are differently capable.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Eman Zayan presented the Foundation’s shield to Prof. Hanan Kamel as a culmination of her efforts to make the agreement successful and overcome the difficulties facing the Foundation and its employees, within the framework of interest in developing the students’ scientific and training capabilities so that young people are graduated who are able to compete and withstand the needs of the labor market.
