Within the framework of preparations of Ain Shams University headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini to receive the new academic year 2019/2020, Prof. Abdul Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs Mohammed Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Sector Affairs Ibrahim Saeed General Supervisor of the university cities sector and Mr. Khaled Assem Director of the University City students and Mr. Tarek Ahmed Director of Youth Welfare Department.
The renovation and development works of buildings B and C, which included paints, electricity, carpentry and plumbing, were inspected in all 4 floors of the buildings. Each building has 176 rooms with a capacity of 352 students per building, as well as the development of halls and toilets attached to each building.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud all the gardens and nurseries of the university city students, and to identify what has been done by the renovations, and directed to benefit from the productivity of nurseries to serve the work of afforestation and decorating on campus and various colleges.
He also commissioned the completion of the renovation of the gardens and provided them with pergolas and benches to serve the students and increase the green spaces in the University City, which is a safe and healthy outlet for students and reflects positively on their mental health and aesthetic appearance of the city.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud said that the development work done in Building B and C ended in record time not exceeding two weeks, thanks to the tireless efforts of all concerned parties.
He added that the development work is continuing according to a predetermined plan to reach the level of service in the university cities to international standards, in order to provide all means of comfort for our students and provide a safe family atmosphere reduces their sense of alienation and ensures families reassure their parents.
The Education and Student Affairs Sector, headed by Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud is working very well in preparation for the new academic year, and continues his intensive efforts to complete the comprehensive program for the reception of new and old students, which carries a lot of surprises and activities.
