The President of the University receives members of the Cairo Platinum Club participating in the charity clothing exhibition and the “Your Health is Important to Us” symposium at the Faculty of Arts

Prof. Mohamed Diaa, President of Ain Shams University, received members of the Cairo Platinum Club participating in the charity clothing exhibition and the “Your Health is Important to Us” symposium at the Faculty of Arts, in cooperation with the Women’s Support and Anti-Violence Unit, in the presence of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Hind Al-Hilali, Director of the Women’s Support and Anti-Violence Unit.

Prof. Muhammad Diaa pointed out the importance of charitable work and the lofty goals that charitable societies aim to achieve in increasing the contribution of community members in solving various issues and providing charitable work and other services to increase the strength of the bond between members of one community and their sympathy with each other.

         
   
         

He explained that charitable work focuses on sustainability in its work to help communities achieve self-sufficiency by supporting education and vocational training programs, which help community members support themselves and open small projects for them.

Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, praised the role of civil society organizations in participating and contributing to all societal issues, spreading health awareness, supporting women, and mitigating the negative effects of many issues such as gender inequality, child labor, high illiteracy rates, domestic violence issues, and other issues through Attracting community members to participate in resolving these issues and making them aware of their harm to society.

Prof. Hind Al-Hilali, Director of the Women’s Support and Anti-Violence Unit, explained the partnership and effective role between the Women’s Support and Anti-Violence Unit and the Rotary Club of Cairo Platinum during this event, which included a charity clothing exhibition and an awareness seminar on cancer diseases, especially cervical cancer, and how to prevent and vaccinate through participants and volunteers.
