At a cost of 8.5 million pounds …The President of the University opens the educational and administrative pavilion of the Cardiology Department at Internal Medicine University Hospital

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, accompanied by Mr. Hassan Ghanem, Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Housing and Development Bank, Mrs. Gehan Hafez, Director General of Social Responsibility at the Housing and Development Bank, opened the educational and administrative pavilion of the Cardiology Department at the internal medicine Hospital, Ain Shams University and the latest 4-D ultrasound machine at a total cost of LE8.5 million.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Acting Dean at Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Shahira Mousa Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Samia Abdo Deputy Director of University Hospitals, Prof. Dr. Mai Hamdi El Sayed Director of the Department of Cardiology and a group of professors of the Department witnessed the inaugurations held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Director of University Hospitals.

The educational and administrative pavilion, besides offices and administrative halls, includes a multi-use hall that serves the purposes of meetings and lectures equipped with the latest high-tech audio and visual equipment.

This is in addition to a hall dedicated to the latest four-dimensional sound waves across the chest and across the esophagus for adults, children and newborns, which serves the purposes of treatment and scientific research at a cost of 3.6 million pounds donated by the Housing and Development Bank.

Prof. The opening of this ward comes within a long-term plan to develop all sections of hospitals according to a specific schedule.

He stressed that the State pays great attention to the development of treatment and health care system to provide high-quality medical service to all citizens, pointing out that it is indispensable to join forces of civil society organizations in supporting and financing the health sector in Egypt.
