The President of Ain Shams University witnesses the launch of the "Students for Egypt League" at Ain Shams University

The activities of the “Champions for Egypt” five-a-side football tournament, organized by the Central for Egypt Family and the University Student Union, began this morning, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Affairs and Environmental Development

         
   
         

In his speech, Prof. Muhammad Diaa Zain El-Abedeen emphasized the university’s role in forming the students’ identity and strengthening their personality through the various activities offered by the university, as well as interacting with faculty staff and providing role models that contribute to building the student personality.

         
   
         

His Excellency also thanked the former leadership of Ain Shams University for the full support they provided to the students during their tenure as university administration and for the achievements that were made in terms of stadiums, infrastructure, and student activities that reached international honors. He called on his students to go out and express themselves through practicing sports and fair competition that would develop Communication skills among students.

         
   
         

Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, expressed her great happiness at being present at this sporting event among the university students in general and the students of the Students for Egypt family in particular, wishing them a distinguished sporting season.

         
   
         

Prof. Mohamed Diaa, President of Ain Shams University, kicked the opening kick for the opening match.

The “Champions for Egypt” five-a-side football tournament is held on the student fields of the Faculties of Business and Pharmacy and the University City, and continues until November 30. 256 teams from various university faculties participate in it in a knockout system, and the first three places are awarded financial prizes and medals.
