Prof. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Rania Salah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Essam Fakhry, Deputy Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals, received a delegation from the British University of Exeter, in the presence of Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of the International Students Department, Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Executive Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and a group of department heads and Faculty staff.
The delegation included Professor Richard Follett, Vice President of the University for Global Engagement, Professor Alexandra Gerbasi, Vice President of the University for Environment, Science and Economic Affairs, Professor Peter Clack, President of Global Participation, Dr. Rasha Kamal, Egyptian Cultural Attaché and Head of the Egyptian Cultural Office in London, Mr. Mark Howard, President of the British Council in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ms. Shaima Al-Banna, Head of Scientific Programs at the British Council in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Where Prof. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Rania Salah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Essam Fakhry, Deputy Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals, and a group of department heads and faculty professors, accompanied the delegation’s tour of the faculty to visit the Skills Center. The delegation also visited the examination halls and the Al-Banhawi and Al-Mahlawi auditoriums, in addition to a tour of the medical city and a visit to the Ain Shams Virtual Hospital at the Heart Academy.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed its admiration for the faculty and the distinct and clear development, especially the advanced e-learning, in addition to the academic activities provided via the Internet through live and recorded interactive lectures and the presentation of educational videos to students.
