To enhance the spirit of excellence and competition in the field of awards, the Awards Office at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law, organized a distinguished workshop entitled “Mechanisms for applying for state and university awards and providing technical support.” This event comes within the framework of the Awards Office’s continuing awareness-raising activities and providing technical support to enhance awareness of the importance of the awards and motivate faculty members and supporting staff.
This event comes under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Dia Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and under the supervision of Prof. Yassin Muhammad Tharwat Al-Shazly, Professor of Commercial and Maritime Law and Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, coordinated by Dr. Fatima Galal, Assistant Professor in the Civil Law Department.
Prof. Alaa El-Din Abdel Halim Farag, supervisor of the Awards Office, focused on the role of the office and its vision, noting the achievements it has achieved since its establishment in 2021. He focused on the requirements for awards of all kinds, especially state awards, university awards, and the required documents, encouraging faculty staff and teaching assistants to participate in all types of prizes available.
The workshop was characterized by a large presence of graduate students, faculty members, and supporting staff. During the session, opinions and active discussions were exchanged, and all questions and inquiries related to state and university awards for faculty staff and teaching assistants were answered.
