During the meeting Abdel Fattah Saud praised the cooperation between the two countries in various fields, stressing that the inauguration of the Portuguese Department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun is the culmination of this cooperation; because of its impact on all levels through the results of this section of graduates can support the labor market in many sectors such as tourism, economy, trade and others.
He added that Ain Shams University is headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini is keen to support and sponsor all that is new and influential scientific fields to keep pace and link scientific research and academic requirements of the labor market.
Mrs. Madalena Fischer stressed the Portuguese side's keenness to provide all means of academic, technical and material support for the continuation of the bonds of cooperation between the two countries, expressing her delight at the presence of this section within one of the oldest and oldest language schools in Egypt, Faculty of Al-Alsun.
Salwa Rashad said that there is a high demand for joining the department, pointing out that the faculty members of the department are experienced at the highest level, including 2 visiting professors from the Kamwich Language Institute.
During the meeting Abdul Fattah Saud praised the participation of the Portuguese Language Department in the university celebrations to welcome the new academic year, through a special pavilion showcases the most important cultural, artistic, tourist and folkloric landmarks of Portugal and the nature of study in the department.
