Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa, President of Ain Shams University, chaired the second session of the Education and Student Affairs Board for the academic year 2023/2024, which was held in the IHUB building in the presence of the deputies of the university’s faculties for educational affairs, students, and members from abroad.
The Board reviewed the faculty board’ proposals regarding the numbers of students proposed to be accepted for the academic year 2024/2025, as well as the procedures for starting the first semester exams for the academic year 2023/2024, in addition to the Director of the International Student Department’s review of the numbers accepted in the university’s faculties and a report on the UMS.
The Board also took note of the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities to make an accurate inventory as accurately as possible of the number of addicts and drug users. It also took note of the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities to organize a competition at the level of all universities to produce a video to consolidate values in Egyptian society under the title “Together” competition, and the results of the competition at the level of university faculties. In addition to determining the extent to which decisions to rationalize public spending affect student activities in a way that does not affect the quality of service provided to students.
