Ain Shams University announces the results of the Self-Sufficiency Festival for Theatrical Acting for the academic year 2023-2024

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the education and student sector announced the results of the Self-Sufficiency Festival for Theatrical Acting for the academic year 2023-2024 under the administrative supervision of Professor Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

The Faculty of Arts won first place for the theatrical show “Someone’s Life,” written and directed by Muhammad Reda, and the Faculty of Specific Education won second place for the theatrical show “Waste of the Cardboard Factory,” written by Muhammad Al-Souri and directed by Ephraim Kamel. The Faculty of Education also won third place in the show. The play “The Merchant of Venice” by William Shakespeare, directed by Youssef Muhammad. The Faculty of Engineering won fourth place for the theatrical show “A Happy Man,” written by Saeed Salman and directed by George Geham, and Al-Alsun won fifth place for the theatrical show “Trees Die Standing,” prepared by Tariq Rajab and directed by Ziad Al-Qadi. The Faculty of Computers and Information won sixth place for the theatrical show “Nights of Humans,” written by Mahmoud Gamal and directed by Youssef Emad. The Faculty of Girls also won seventh place for the theatrical show “In the Middle of Autumn,” written by Muhammad Al-Souri and directed by Jessica Safwat, and the Faculty of Commerce won eighth place for the show. The play “The First to Saw the Sun” was written by Mohamed Adel and directed by Mahmoud Tawfiq. The Faculty of Law came in ninth place for the theatrical show “Disruption” written by Mujib Ahmed and directed by Ahmed Nadi. The tenth place was taken by the Faculty of Agriculture for the theatrical show “Sent to.” Written by Taha Zaghloul and directed by Omar Ali, the Faculty of Medicine won eleventh place for the theatrical show “Under the Ruins” prepared and directed by Sarah Muhammad, and the Faculty of Dentistry won twelfth place for the theatrical show “Mr. Louise’s Bakery” written and directed by Abanoub Magdy, and in conclusion the center The thirteenth year was awarded to the Faculty of Science for the theatrical performance “Edraak Dance,” prepared by Ahmed Hisham and directed by Ahmed Hisham.
