The Faculty of Girls wins 3 awards in the Self-Sufficiency Theatrical Acting Competition at Ain Shams University

The Education and Student Sector at Ain Shams University announced the results of the Self-Sufficiency Festival for Theatrical Acting for the academic year 2023/2024, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University. The students of the Faculty of Girls were able to achieve outstanding results, under the patronage of Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Asmaa Zaaa, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.

         
   
         

Student Rawan Haitham Al-Sayed won the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, “second place,” for the theatrical performance in mid-fall.

Student Ilaria Mounir Hanna won the special jury award for makeup for the theatrical performance in the middle of the fall.

Mr. Ahmed Tariq also won the Best Lighting Award (second place) for lighting the theatrical show in Mid-Autumn.

Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, confirmed that the university provides all means of support to its students and all facilities to enable them to practice student activities, in the belief that students’ practice of student activities refines their personality and enables them to practice their hobbies and invest their energies.

She praised the effort made by caring for Youth Welfare and female students, to obtain awards and raise the name of the Faculty of Girls among faculties.

Prof. Asmaa Zaaa, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, congratulated the winning students, stressing that the support of Ain Shams University, the Education and Student Sector stems from the belief that investing in students and discovering talent is something extremely important, and it is one of the sector’s authentic policies that have produced distinguished student leaders in all fields.
